Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is pleased with the results of the Champions League quarter-final draw against English clubs , reports by UFABET.

The Reds will face Portuguese club Benfica in the quarter-finals. And if the team advances, they will face the winner between Bayern Munich or Villarreal, with league-mates Chelsea and Manchester City on the other line.

The white German boss revealed that he was satisfied with the result of the draw that did not have to face clubs from the same nation. As for if reaching the finals and having to meet, is another story.

“I’m available against anyone but the only thing I don’t want is against an English team,” Klopp said ahead of the team’s FA Cup tie against Forest.

“We’ve been through it in the past and qualified. We played in the final against an English team. it doesn’t have anything In the finals. However, you will face teams that have qualified.”

“We play (against England) often enough during the season and it would be nice if you played against teams from other nations.

Klopp added that he is “really looking forward” to the tie. That with Benfica the only club in the draw that he has not faced as Liverpool manager. The Lisbon club knocked out Ajax in the round of 16 after a Darwin Núñez goal in Amsterdam sealed a 3-2 aggregate win.

“Really looking forward to it,” Klopp added. “It’s a quarter-final so a tough one. Benfica did obviously really well against Ajax and that’s the situation. I know people will say we are the favourites and stuff like this.

But that’s already the first mistake you could make. We are too long in the business now to make these kinds of mistakes. I’m just really looking forward to it.
